National Child Day – November 20, 2019

National Child Day is celebrated in Canada on November 20 in recognition of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The UNCRC was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations (including Canada!) on November 20, 1989. Its anniversary is the perfect time for youth in Canada to learn more about their rights, express themselves, and shape their own future.
